Green River

After so much food and drink on Christmas Day, I went for a walk with my parents down The Line to get some much needed exercise and fresh air. It use to be a train line running through Newport Pagnell that is now a public footpath. As I kept stopping to take photos, my parents where quite a distance ahead of me, but they paused to point out a small river that was just visible through the break in the trees. I love anything green and mossy, so finding this place was my kind of woodland heaven. I followed the steps round to the top of the pond, where it was just a sheet of green algae, but I didn’t spend too long there since I didn’t have a macro lens with me. The Canon 100mm ƒ/2.8 is definitely on my shopping list for Focus On Imaging, roll on March!
