Expecting

My sister Rebecca recently announced that she and her husband Jéhan will be expecting a baby in the summer. So excited to become an Auntie for the first time, I can’t keep my eyes from looking (but have so far resisted browsing!) the baby section in clothes shops >.< Having a relatively small family we haven’t had a new member since myself, so this will be the first baby I will actually be related to, and have frequent contact with. Exciting times!

Becca’s been busy with her handmade Christmas presents, but has already started knitting a pair of little booties for when the little one arrives. Pictured are the awesome pair of mittens (of which I now own a grey pair), that very practically have a hole for the index finger so I can use my camera and iPhone without taking them off. Genius!
